The King of Prussia is a much-loved historic pub with rooms, proudly standing on Fowey’s Town Quay for centuries. Steeped in character and stories of the past, it remains at the heart of the town. Now lovingly restored to offer a welcoming space that blends old-world charm with a touch of modern comfort.
Teresa and her team have created a place that feels every bit the welcoming pub it has always been, but with a fresh energy. In the kitchen, head chef Scott Williams celebrates proper British food — from comforting pub classics done right to seasonal dishes with a little extra flair. Whether you’re tucking into a hearty plate, sharing a meal with friends, or raising a glass from our well-stocked bar, The King of Prussia is all about good food, good drink, and genuine hospitality.
Upstairs, six characterful bedrooms overlook the beautiful Fowey Estuary, inviting you to stay a little longer. With cosy touches and river views, they’re the perfect retreat after a day exploring the Cornish coast.
